Hiroi is the band of Viennese (with japanese roots) Jazz Guitarist Michiru Ripplinger.

    This quintet is taking side trips from the fields of modern jazz to the lands of singer/songwriter and rockish idioms are not unlikely to pop up on its musical journey.

    After all these five musicians are working hard to live up to the meaning of their group‘s name Hiroi, meaning “wide“.
